Alan Quinlan joined Adrian Barry on this morning's OTB AM to discuss the opening weekend of the PRO14 championship.
The former Munster player believes Leinster will be the team to beat on both European and PRO14 fronts.
Double champions Leinster have made one addition to their side with centre Joe Tomane added to the ranks for the Dublin based province.
"They've only one signing. Joe Tomane who has 17 caps for Australia. He was with Montpellier, and he's a very strong abrasive player. He's probably replacing Nacewa, if you can replace someone that good.
Leinster kick-off their campaign in Cardiff and Quinlan is excited about a number of their young prospects ahead of the coming season. Including Irish U-20 captain Caelan Doris and Josh Murphy. Both start in Leinster back-row in tonight's season opener.
Quinlan believes Leinster youth conveyor belt is key to their success on and off the pitch.
"The strength-in-depth in the squad, you just look at Caelan Doris who is playing tonight against Cardiff. He's a super player. Josh Murphy is another very good player in their back-row. They keep rolling out young players. They don't have to go out to the market then and keep signing guys.
