Sam Martinez is 106 years old and has finally watched his favourite team lift the Scottish Cup at the 12th time of asking.
Hibs had not won the competition in 114 years since they defeated Celtic 1-0 in 1902. They have competed in 11 finals since then but finished runner-up on each of those.
Martinez, originally from Belize, move to Scotland in 1942 and attended his first Hibs game in 1945. He has been waiting decades for this victory and will surely enjoy celebrating Hibs' first victory in the competition in over a century.
