Khalil Rountree had to tell his number one fan to shut up as her shouts of encouragement were putting him off on his UFC debut last night.
That fan just happened to be his Mother and it led to one of the funnier moments inside a cage that we have ever seen.
Rountree was battling Andrew Sanchez, and would eventually lose, but when he was caught on the ground by his opponent right beside where his mother was sitting, he had to ask her to stop yelling her encouragement.
Not wanting to be the kind of fighter who doesn't appreciate his fans, Rountree took to Twitter with a picture with his mother and also acknowledged the kind of beating he would have gotten if she was in the ring with him after telling her to 'shut up'.
