Here are all the official Premier League kits for 2016/17 so far

With the new season about to get underway, Premier League clubs have been gearing up for their new campaigns with the launch of their official kits.

West Ham have been the latest to unveil a new kit, and appear to be jumping on the retro bandwagon with this plain but somewhat classic effort...except for the sponsor emblazoned across it.

The TIW FC on the crest is for Thames Iron Works, the football club which eventually went on to become known as West Ham, and will be worn to mark their first season at their new stadium.

After much speculation, Manchester United have finally unveiled their shirt for the new season, and the frankly strange video that accompanies it is worth a watch.

Cross-city rivals Manchester City also launched their new jerseys, keeping with the classic blue that is always associated with the club, while their away jersey this time out is a darker shade, mixing black with maroon sleeves.

In the midst of an amazing season, Leicester ran out of replica jerseys in January, such was their popularity around the world. It is estimated that the kit shortage cost the club a seven-figure amount in additional revenue.

It looks as though they've learned their lesson though, as the kit for next season was launched early to try and grab on to the wave of momentum and goodwill that currently surrounds the club.

Since revealing their home kit, Leicester have also released a red away kit, along with a white third choice kit.

Manchester United are also hopping on the blue bandwagon with their away kit, perhaps hoping that it will bring them as much luck as it did Leicester last season.

Whatever your thoughts on the home and away jerseys, fans will be hoping to see their alternative third kit as much as possible because, and we say this with totally impartiality, it's absolutely stunning.

I mean look at it. The weird video for the launch of their new home jersey is forgiven. Even the lads look delighted with it.

Whether or not it's leading the way, it certainly surpasses Liverpool's lime and grey attempt. You certainly won't miss them. James Milner looks as though he's just realised he may have to actually wear it this year.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have opted for a much more modest effort. A simple white with blue collar and featured stripe.

Back in the Premier League again, Hull launched their new kit too, and it certainly has an interesting collar.

Chelsea, Sunderland and Stoke have also released their home kits for next season, withe Black Cats fans hoping David Moyes can lead them to success in the red and white stripes.

Sunderland have also released their away kit, with a rather eye-catching colour combination.

Clearly, they are big fans of the Brazilian real.

Liverpool have also released their kit after initially accidentally launching it on the New Balance site a bit too early. Sticking with the tried and tested formula of plain red, it also includes a tribute to the 96 victims of the Hillsborough disaster

West Ham have revealed their away kit for the upcoming season, with Dimitri Payet featuring heavily in the new ad, giving fans hope that he won't be headed anywhere during the transfer window.

Tottenham have been inspired by White Hart Lane's gold cockerel in their new kits. While the home kit, stays with its traditional colours, the away kit uses gold trim, with the third kit being predominantly gold.
