Aiden McGeady has not been given a squad number at Everton for the upcoming Premier League season.

It is a sign that new manager Ronald Koeman does not see the Ireland winger as being a part of his future plans.

McGeady spent part of last season on-loan with Sheffield Wednesday after struggling for game-time in the first half of the 2015-16 season.

The 30-year-old did enough to be included in Martin O'Neill's Ireland squad for Euro 2016, where he featured as a substitute in the group games against Sweden, Belgium and Italy.
