Aisling Daly's return date to the UFC has finally been confirmed.

She remains Ireland's most successful female MMA fighter, but has been out of the octagon since her win over Ericka Almeida in Dublin last October. After a nine-month wait, Daly is now scheduled to fight in Hamburg, Germany on September 3rd.

Daly will fight Amanda Waterson in a Strawweight bout in Germany. The American is currently number 11 in the UFC's divisional rankings and provides a strong test to the Dubliner.

Waterson has a 13-4 record, but has only fought once in the UFC. That fight happened in July last year when she defeated Angela Magana. A knee injury has hampered Waterson's return to the ring.

The Heavyweight bout between former champion Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett is expected to be the main event of the card. The September event will be the first time the UFC have held a show in the German city.
