Anderson Silva has been withdrawn from a stacked UFC 198 card due to injury, just four days before the event.
The Brazilian was set to face Uriah Hall on the main card but has had to undergo surgery to remove his gall bladder, according to MMAFighting.com.
Silva, the former UFC middleweight champion, was set to take to the Octagon at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil, his first fight in his homeland since 2012.
As a result, Uriah Hall has been pulled from the card, despite efforts from the UFC to find a replacement for Jamaican.
