Andy Lee is set for a long-awaited return to the ring.
The former WBO middleweight champion has not fought since losing his title to Billy Joe Saunders in December 2015. He has told Off the Ball on Sunday, that he is preparing for a return very soon.
"There's a possibility I'll be fighting soon", the Limerick native revealed. "I don't want to say anything before it's all confirmed, but you'll be hearing about it in the next week or two".
The 32-year-old Southpaw is currently based in London, where he is training for a comeback. Lee has worked iwth David Haye's former trainer Adam Booth since the death of Emanuel Steward in 2012.
Lee added that he was "flying at the moment" as he hopes to step back into the ring soon.
The Limerick star has been linked with fighting the winner of the Gennady Golovkin-Danny Jacobs fight that will take place in New York in March.
