Anthony "Showtime" Pettis has missed weight ahead of his interim featherweight title fight with Max Holloway at UFC 206.
Pettis weighed in at 148 lbs, three pounds over the required 145 lbs for a championship fight.
MMAFighting.com are reporting that the fight will still go ahead but "Showtime" won't be able to win the title. If Holloway wins, he will be crowned interim featherweight champion.

Pettis is a former lightweight champion but after losing three straight in the division he decided to drop 10 lbs and compete at the smaller featherweight limit.
He won his first bout against Charles Oliveira by submission in the third round and was immediately catapulted into the upper echelons of the division.
Jose Aldo was promoted to undisputed champion after Conor McGregor was stripped leaving Pettis and Holloway to duke it out for the interim title and a shot at Adlo.
Pettis's blunder now throws those plans in the air and muddies the water even further. If he wins on Saturday, how can the UFC offer him another championship fight after missing weight?
Stranger things have happened in the organisation but you get the feeling Dana White and Co. could have done without this hitch.
John Kavanagh was quick to give his two cents on the topic:
they all say they can do what he can do. until it comes time to do what he can do.
