Antonio Conte targets win record after league win

Antonio Conte says he is not just content with Chelsea's Premier League title victory last week and has set his sights on another piece of history.

Should Chelsea beat relegated Sunderland on Sunday afternoon, they would be the first team to rack up 30 Premier League wins in a single season.

After securing the title last Friday night, the Italian manager says the record is something that will keep his side concentrated during their final game of the season.

"It's important because it keeps you focused," he said after Monday night's victory over Watford at Stamford Bridge.

"When you reach the target it's normal to lose concentration and you could be a bit relaxed.

"I think that's good to keep the concentration. We will use this and we'll also have to prepare for the FA Cup final against Arsenal."

The London club beat Watford 4-3 in front of a raucous home crowd and their penultimate home game of the season even saw club legend John Terry get on the scoresheet.

The 36-year-old will leave the club at the end of the season, and Conte repeated last night the size of the loss he will be to the club.

"We're losing a legend," he said. "This season, I repeated that John will be missed a lot.

"In the future, not to have this type of player will be a pity. But we have to respect his will."
