WATCH: Arsenal attempt to play rugby in training with very mixed results

Arsenal are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table, but that won't stop them from having fun at training.

A video posted by their media team shows Arsene Wenger, Olivier Giroud and others attempting to replicate their countrymen's skills on the rugby field.

Ahead of Saturday's World Cup final, Arsenal coaches thought it might be a good way to improvise with training a little and introduced some drills that included the oval ball. It is evident, however, that Richie McCaw and Dan Carter's status in the game won't be threatened by any of the Arsenal squad based on some of the throwing and kicking techniques on display.
