Arsenal missed the chance to move up to third place in the Premier League as Crystal Palace held them at the Emirates.

Alexis Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead just before half-time after he headed in a chipped ball in from Danny Welbeck.

But the Gunners were unable to put the game to bed, despite holding 72% of possession, and they were punished with 10 minutes to go.

Yannick Bolasie equalised for Palace as he beat Petr Cech at his near post with a shot from 30 yards.

Arsenal stay fourth, four points clear of fifth-placed Manchester United and five behind second-placed Tottenham.
