Barcelona secured a second consecutive domestic double last night with a 2-0 extra time victory over Sevilla.

Goals from Jordi Alba and Neymar were enough to secure the victory during an ill-tempered game in which three players were sent off as well as 13 bookings over the course of the 120 minutes.

Javier Mascherano was the first to be dismissed after bringing down Kévin Gameiro, denying him a clear goalscoring opportunity.

The sides were levelled up heading into extra time when Ever Banega hauled down Neymar on the edge of the box and was given his marching orders.
