Barnsley have ended their two year absence from the Sky Bet Championship following a 3-1 victory against Millwall in the League 1 play-off final this afternoon at Wembley.

A goal from Manchester United loanee Ashley Fletcher within two minutes of the start had the Tykes in control of the game before Adam Hammill doubled their lead in the 19th minute.

Mark Beevers pulled one back for Millwall in the latter end of the first half, but a Lloyd Isgrove strike 15 minutes from time sealed Barnsley's place back in the Championship after being relegated in 2014.
