German giants Bayern Munich have confirmed that manager Pep Guardiola will not continue with the club beyond the end of this season.
In his time in charge of the club he has won two league titles, the Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the German cup, having only lost 17 games in total with them since 2013.

In a statement FC Bayern München chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said "We are grateful to Pep Guardiola for everything he has given our club since 2013. I am convinced that Pep and our team will now work even more intensively towards achieving our major sporting goals – especially as it is now confirmed that Pep is to leave FC Bayern".
Reports on Saturday suggested that Carlo Ancelotti would be taking over as the new manager once Guardiola leaves the club, as suspicion increased that the former Barcelona manager would look to leave Bavarian club no matter what happens in the coming months.
There have been a number of reports linking him to a move to the Premier League, and with mounting pressure on Louis van Gaal at Manchester United as well as the recent sacking of Jose Mourinho by Chelsea, there could be a few clubs looking for his signature.
However, German football expert Raphael Honigstein believes that there are no done deals when it comes to Pep, as he can be quite high maintenance and also has a tendency to change his mind frequently.
Manchester City have also been rumoured to be courting his signature, and there will be no shortage of speculation in the coming months until Guardiola puts pen to paper on a new deal.
