Bayern Munich made to wait for their fourth Bundesliga title in a row

Bayern Munich will have to wait another week before claiming their fourth consecutive Bundesliga title after a 1-1 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach at the Allianz Arena.

It would have been the first time since 2000 that Bayern had the chance to seal the title in front of their home crowd.

While it would be fantastical to think there is a title race on in Germany, Bayern's campaign hangs in the balance with the visit of Atletico Madrid on Tuesday looming large over the squad.

Thomas Mueller put the hosts up in the first half before being pegged back by Andre Hahn as the game appeared over.

Pep Guardiola, who has recently given reporters permission to kill him if Atletico beat his side, is under pressure from all angles as his impending move to Manchester City approaches and his last few weeks in Munich look like they could end on a sour note.

Borussia Dortmund held up their end of the agreement by beating Wolfsburg 5-1 with their former hero, Mats Hummels, receiving a villain's greeting at the Westfalenstadion.
