Adam 'Pacman' Jones was not happy with the refs after the Cincinnati Bengals lost

Adam 'Pacman' Jones took to Instagram last night after the Cincinnati Bengals lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers to vent his frustrations with the referees.

The post, which has since been deleted, was a foul mouthed tirade against the officials, after the Bengals coughed up a tight game in the final quarter.

It was a bad tempered affair, which included Bengals players Reggie Nelson getting involved in a scuffle with the Steelers' offensive line coach Mike Munchak (who ended up getting a call for unsportsmanlike conduct) as well as a huge hit from Ryan Shazier that knocked out Giovani Bernard.

Having lead with the crown of his helmet, Bengals players and fans were not happy with the referees for not throwing a flag on the play.

That resulted in a scuffle between the Bengals and the Steelers, but despite being 15-0 down at that stage, the Cincinnati side turned it around and lead 16-15 in the fourth quarter.

However, they turned the ball over to the Steelers, before giving them good field position with a penalty called on Vontaze Burfict for his hit on Antonio Brown.

The controversy didn't end there, as linebacker coach for the Steelers Joey Porter entered the fray, which should have been a penalty on the Steelers, but that wasn't called.

With 14 seconds left on the clock, Chris Boswell hit a 35-yard field goal to give them an 18-16 win, leaving Bengals fans devastated, and Jones furious. He took to Instagram to declare that the "refs did a horible f***in' job. You got f***in' Joey Porter in the middle of the f***in' field talking s**t to everybody [...] and he ain't even supposed to be on the f***in' field".

Despite making it this far, and after quite a good season, veteran coach Marvin Lewis might be in trouble, given that his record is now 0-7 in the postseason.

Elsewhere, the Texans totally collapsed in a 30-0 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have completely turned their season around. Having lost five of their first six games, they then went undefeated in ten games, adding an 11th straight win last night.

JJ Watt of the Texans took to Twitter to apologise for the team's performance after the game.

There are two more wild card games to take place on Sunday night, as the Seattle Seahawks visit Minnesota where the conditions are expected to be incredibly cold, and the Green Bay Packers make the trip to Washington.
