Brendan Rodgers looking to continue unbeaten domestic form

Celtic continue thier quest for a Scottish treble this weekend and hope to carry their unbeaten domestic form into their game with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Speaking to the club's official website after last week's come from behind win, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers said: “We started the game very well. In fairness to St Johnstone, they came back and went in front so then we had a challenge. The players responded brilliantly.

“As I said, they stay calm in the moment and they know their fitness and energy will always be there. Then you wait for the opponent to make the mistakes and then you can go on and get the victory and that’s what they’ve been doing.

“The players obviously set themselves apart from that by getting the wins. For us it’s to concentrate on the three points and ultimately the result of that brings you to 30 games.

“We have to concentrate on performing well and that’s my only worry is not about records or anything else but to perform well, play well and get good results,” he added.

The Scottish champions are currently 27 points clear at the top of the league table and have alreadty won the League Cup.

Inverness travel to Celtic Park almost 17 years to the day when they pulled off a famous 3-1 upset. They're also the only team to take points off the Glasgow side in the league after a 2-2 draw last September.
