Bundee Aki has recovered fully from an ankle injury and is expected to return to first team training this week, the province has said.

Aki has been missing since December when he picked up an injury in action against Wasps in the Champions Cup. The 26-year-old returns to first team training and could be in line to make his first appearance of the year when the Guinness PRO12 champions travel to Italian side Benetton Treviso side this Sunday.

Similarly, Andrew Browne has also recovered from an ankle injury and will return to training this week.

Stacey Ili and Eoin Griffin have also recovered from ankle and chest injuries respectively which is likely to see them rejoin the ranks for this weekend's game.

Cian Kellegher has been able to shake off a hamstring injury and will also return to training this week.

Pat Lam's side go to Italy this weekend 30 points behind table toppers Munster, but come off the back of a win at home to Newport Gwent Dragons last weekend at the Sportsgrounds.
