Can the Dutch perform a great escape tonight?

The Netherlands may tonight miss out on their first European Championships since 1984. The Dutch have previously qualified for nine of the last ten tournaments but need to beat the Czech Republic tonight to have any hope of reaching the play offs.

Ben Lyttleton joined Joe on last nights Off the Ball to discuss the situation for Danny Blind's side who finished third at the World Cup less than 18 months ago. The Dutch currently lie in fourth place in Group A.

Iceland and Czech Republic have qualified automatically from the group as Turkey and the Dutch fight it out for the third place which can keep their Euro 2016 dreams alive.

The Dutch need to win tonight in Amsterdam against the Czech Republic to have any hope of reaching the play offs. Turkey face Iceland knowing a draw in Konya will be enough to reach the next stage of qualifying.

Danny Blind only took charge of the team midway through the Group A campaign after Guus Hididnk left the job in June. If the Dutch do not win tonight, Blind may leave the job after only being in charge for four games.
