Celtic entertain Partick Thistle tonight looking to continue their impressive domestic form as the festive season continues.

Speaking in the official match programme ahead of tonight's game, Roberts said: "Confidence and momentum are key for any footballer at the top level and if you don’t have that then you won’t do as well.

“If you are in fine form you will just carry on and I will be trying to continue that. We have been good recently and hopefully we can continue that for the rest of the season.

“We played Thistle the other week and it was 4-1 and they will come with revenge in mind and to try and get a result. It will be a tough game but we will have to make it tough for them and play our own game as we try to get the win. As they are coming to Celtic Park they might want to try something different,” he added.

The champions head into tonight's clash unbeaten in their 16 league matches so far this season. Bottom side Partick haven't won since the end of October although they picked up a valuable point against Hearts last time out.
