Cesc Fabregas is likely to make his first Premier League start of the new season this weekend against his former club Arsenal at the Emirates.

Antonio Conte is expected to dispatch Fabregas in place of Oscar after netting twice in a 4-2 win over Leicester City during the week.

The home reception at his old stomping ground will be a frosty one if Fabregas features today. He transferred to the rival club from Barcelona as a 16-year-old and subsequently spent eight years there before returning to Barcelona and then moving on to Chelsea in 2014. Conte says that the Spaniard is prepared for the game.

"For Cesc, it's a special game. But the most important thing for Cesc is that, now, he's a Chelsea player and playing very well for Chelsea. I'm seeing him very focused, very concentrated, during the training sessions. He played a good game in the cup. I'm pleased with his attitude, with his commitment during training and in the last game."
