Connacht, Leinster and Ulster all face stern tests
On Tuesday afternoon, the draw for the Champions Cup took place, as all four Irish provinces looked to find out who they would be facing in Europe's top competition.
After winning the Pro 12 title last year, Connacht will face a very stern test as they look to emerge from a pool that contains Wasps and Toulouse, along with Zebre.
Leinster have also been handed a very difficult draw as they will be joined in Pool 4 by Northampton, Castres and Montpellier.
Ronan O'Gara is headed back to Thomond Park as his Racing 92 side have been drawn in the same pool as Munster, where they are joined by Glasgow and Leicester Tigers.
He's not the only man making a homecoming however, as Ian Madigan will also be returning to Ireland with his new side Bordeaux Begles, who were drawn in Pool 5 along with Ulster, Exeter and Clermont Auvergne.
Pool 3 contains two of the competition's heavyweights in Saracens and Toulon, along with Scarlets and Sale, and may well be the one to watch for a potential winner.
