Champions League Preview: Leicester's last chance?
The Premier League champions head to Sevilla while Porto host Juventus15:49 Wednesday 22 February 2017, 15:49 22 Feb 2017
Premier League champions Leicester City have the opportunity to put their poor domestic campaign to one side for a night when they travel to Spain to take on an in-form Sevilla side.
Claudio Ranieri's men have endured a miserable defence of their title so much so that they are involved in a relagation dog fight.
They are yet to score in the league in 2017 and confidence appears at an all time low.
Star striker Jamie Vardy netted 24 times in the league last season but has only celebrated five goals this term as Leicester's season unravels.
However, despite their awful domestic form Ranieri's men topped their Champions League group and have progressed thus far with relative ease.
Sevilla are enjoying a fine season and are currently three points off the top of La Liga although Real Madrid have two games in hand.
They have only been beaten at home twice in their last 16 home matches and ended Real Madrid's 40 game unbeaten run with a 2-1 win in January.
Their five recent Europa League wins also give them a European pedigree that their opponents can only dream of.
The other game tonight sees Porto entertain Italian giants Juventus.
The runaway leaders in Italy topped their Champions League group winning four and drawing two of their matches.
They have won their last six league matches but haven't won Europe's top prize in 21 years.
Porto are a point off the top of their domestic league and have also won their last six league matches.
The clash also sees legendary goalkeepers Gianluigi Buffon and Iker Casillas go head-to-head for the 17th time.
