Champions League Round-Up: Leicester and Tottenham earn narrow wins

Leicester City have made it two wins from two in the Champions League group stages as they give themselves a good chance of progressing to the knockout rounds.

The Foxes defeated FC Porto 1-0 at home to move onto six points.

Algeria striker Islam Slimani scored the only goal of the game for the Premier League champions.

The summer signing has already scored twice for Leicester in the league and found the net again by heading in a cross from his compatriot Riyad Mahrez on 25 minutes.

Porto almost equalised in the second half but Jesus Corona hit the woodwork as Leicester survived.

Meanwhile, Tottenham beat CSKA Moscow 1-0 away as they bounced back from their opening group defeat to Monaco.

In form Son Heung Min delivered the only goal of the fixture in Russia with 20 minutes to go to give Mauricio Pochettino's side the victory.

In the standout fixture of the night, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid drew 2-2 in Germany.
