Sam Vokes scored the only goal of the game as Burnley secured their spot in next season's Premier League with a victory over QPR.

Sean Dyche's side become the first side since Newcastle and West Brom in 2009 to return to England's top flight at the first time of asking.

After a tentative opening 45 minutes, Vokes struck on the hour mark and his goal proved enough to see them through.

Earlier today, James Wilson's last gasp equaliser earned Brighton a point at home to Derby. Chris Houghton's side face Middlesbrough on the final day of the season to see who will earn an automatic promotion place.
