Champions Chelsea beat Watford in thriller

Champions Chelsea celebrated winning the Premier League with an entertaining 4-3 win over Watford at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Antonio Conte's side went 3-1 up early in the second half, before the visitors pulled it back to 3-3.

Cesc Fabregas scored the winner with two minutes of the 90 left.

It is a fifth straight defeat for Watford but despite victory not being a necessity, Chelsea still found a way to come out on top.

They took the lead through a club legend on the way out at the end of the season as captain John Terry pounced on a loose ball in the box and fired in from close range for a very popular goal at Stamford Bridge after just 22 minutes of play.

But barely a minute later his poor header in his own box saw the ball fall for Etienne Capoue to head in.

However, Cesar Azpilicueta restored Chelsea's lead on 36 minutes when he drove in a shot from the edge of the box.

And Michy Batshuayi who scored the goal last Friday which put a seal on Chelsea's Premier League title, tapped in a third shortly after half time.

But Watford fought back, first through wing back Daryl Janmaat who darted into the box and applied a composed finish.

With 16 minutes to go, striker Stefano Okaka made the most of hesitancy in the Chelsea defence to finish from close range and level the scores at 3-3.

But Fabregas' late goal settled the match in the home side's favour.
