Antonio Conte has come out to stress that Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will not be leaving the club amid rumours that he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Chelsea are in immensely better condition on the Premier League table compared to the 2015 festive period. After accumulating a run of 12 consecutive wins, they now sit six points clear at the summit of the table.

And considering they're currently four points shy of what they finished with last season, their recovery has been impressive.

Courtois conceded just two goals during that 12-game run and it's reported that Spanish giants Real Madrid are interested in recruiting him. Meanwhile Chelsea are understood to be working on a new offer to keep Courtois at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to British media today, Conte dismissed the speculation and assured them that he has no worries about his keeper's commitment to the club.

"It is not important to clarify the situation about Thibaut. He is for me one of the best, if not the best goalkeeper in the world. He is working very well and he is a fantastic goalkeeper.

"He stays with us and this is the most important thing. The other situation is only speculation. This season he's playing very well, and you can see that he's not only very good with his hands, but also with his feet.

"Yes, I think he's a complete goalkeeper. He's a model goalkeeper."
