Leicester have been trying to convince him to stay with the offer of improved terms
We're halfway through the summer transfer window and thus far Leicester have not lost any of the key players that carried them to a fairytale Premier League title last season.
Jamie Vardy has signed a deal, ending speculation of a move to Arsenal, while last season's PFA Player of the Season Riyad Mahrez is still at the King Power Stadium.
But according to The Daily Mail, Chelsea are increasingly confident of getting hold of France international midfielder N'Golo Kante, whose energy in midfield was vital to the title charge.
They suggest a fee of £30 million as new Blues manager Antonio Conte looks to strengthen his squad.
But the Mail adds that Leicester have made offers to Kante to entice him to stay put.
Kante was involved in France's Euro 2016 campaign but did not play in the final as manager Didier Deschamps went for other options in midfield.
