Chicago Cubs are four wins away from their first World Series title since 1908.

The Cubs won their first National League Pennant on Saturday night since 1945, with a 5-0 win over the LA Dodgers. That win helped the Cubs to a 4-2 series win.

One of the oldest teams in professional baseball, the Cubs have had one of the longest droughts in American professional sports. Since their last Pennant win in 1945, the Cubs had played in four National League Series without reaching the World Series.

The Cubs led 5-0 inside the first five innings, with Dexter Fowler, Chris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Willson Contreras and Addison Russell all scoring on a historic night at Wrigley Field.

The World Series begins on Tuesday evening, with the Cleveland Indians hosting the first two games against the Cubs, before Chicago hosts Games 3 and 4. Both teams are waiting a combined 176 years since their last World Series title.
