Cleveland become first team to advance in NBA Playoffs

Cleveland Cavaliers became the first team to advance in the NBA Playoffs, after a 4-0 series win over Indiana Pacers.

The Cavaliers, who are the second seeds in the Eastern Conference, defeated the Pacers 106-102 in Indianapolis to advance to the Conference Semi-Finals without losing a game. Despite the apparent dominance of the 4-0 series win, the Cavaliers only won the games by a combined 16 points.

On Sunday night, LeBron James top-scored with 33 points. In each of the four matches, he scored at least 25 points per game.

Boston Celtics, the Eastern Conference top-seeds won away from home for the second game in a row, to tie their series 2-2 with Chicago Bulls. Isaiah Thomas scored 33 points in the win, as Boston look to maintain their playoff hopes.

In the Western Conference, Houston Rockets took a 3-1 series lead over Oklahoma City Thunder, after they won 113-109 away from home. Utah Jazz defeated the LA Clippers 105-98 to level their series 2-2.

Golden State Warriors can become the second time to advance to the Conference Semi-Finals, on Monday evening. The 2015 Champions face Portland Trail Blazers needing one more win to win their series.

The Warriors will have to play without their head coach Steve Kerr. On Sunday, Kerr announced he would not be involved on the sidelines due to a back complaint. The head coach has suffered with complications from a back surgery in recent months.
