Connacht quartet return for Champions Cup clash against Wasps

John Cooney and Marnitz Boshoff miss out

Niyi Adeolokun, Kieran Marmion, Jack Carty and Ultan Dillane will all return for Connacht's European Champions Cup trip to face Wasps.

But scrum half John Cooney and out half Marnitz Boshoff miss out.

The latter is injured, while Cooney was a late withdrawal after a minor quad strain in training.

John Muldoon captains the side and wins his 286th cap for the province.

Bundee Aki will be joined by Stacey Ili in the centre partnership.

Tiernan O'Halloran will be at full-back.

Connacht will hope to make it three wins from three in the Champions Cup pool stages, having edged Toulouse at home and earned a bonus point victory away to Zebre.

Connacht starting XV: Tiernan O’Halloran, Niyi Adeolokun, Stacey Ili, Bundee Aki, Cian Kelleher; Jack Carty, Kieran Marmion; Denis Buckley, Tom McCartney, Conor Carey, Ultan Dillane, Quinn Roux, Nepia Fox-Matamua, Jake Heenan, John Muldoon.
