Controlled explosion carried out outside France team hotel before Euro 2016 final

The game is just hours from kickoff and police are on high alert

Reports from France suggest there has been a controlled explosion carried out by police outside France's team hotel due to a suspicious package being found.

The area where the France team are staying was evacuated after the package was found and with just hours before the final kicks off, police are on high alert and fans will be nervous to ensure everything goes to plan. 

The final takes place at the Stade de France and Dider Deschamps side are staying at the Equipede hotel in Paris. The game kicks off at 8PM and the hosts play Portugal in the ultimate game of the tournament.
