Conor McGregor's position as one of the most famous sport stars in the World was cemented on Sunday evening, when he was paid a visit by Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Euro 2016-winning captain is still on his summer holidays, after helping Portugal win the European Championships earlier this month. He is expected to begin pre-season training with Real Madrid in the coming weeks.

Ronaldo travelled to to McGregor's training camp as the Dubliner continues his preparations for the rematch with Nate Diaz.

Despite being in prime physical condition, McGregor looks relatively small when standing next to Ronaldo. The Portuguese star never seems to miss a chance for a photo opportunity with his top off though

McGregor's coach John Kavanagh also jumped in for a photo with the favourite to be the next FIFA Ballon d'Or winner.

Nice to have @cristiano drop in to the gym to support us

After his loss to Nate Diaz earlier this year, McGregor returns to action in the Octagon against the Californian on August 20th at UFC 202.
