After a much-publicised rift between Conor McGregor and Dana White (as well as the UFC) over media obligations, the Dublin fighter was removed from the UFC 200 card.
While that was a blow to its possible earning potential, the raft of other great fights and the inclusion of Brock Lesnar got fans who were on the fence excited again.
One of the biggest bouts was undoubtedly Jon Jones facing Daniel Cormier in the main event to unify the UFC Light-Heavyweight Title, but that fight has now been scrapped after Jones provided a potential positive test last month in preparation for the fight.
McGregor's coach John Kavanagh took to Twitter in the wake of the news to throw a well-timed dig at Jones and the UFC, asking "if there's any regret taking him off the card over a press conference now."
Although he wasn't tagged in the tweet, and the UFC weren't either, it clearly got a lot of traction and came to the attention of the organisation's president, who was short and succinct in his response.

With the Jones fight now off, there's a good chance that McGregor may be able to push UFC 202 to outsell UFC 200 and once again prove he's one of the biggest draws in the sport at the moment.
Kavanagh's tweet might not have helped a fraught relationship between the two camps, but if McGregor and Diaz break some more earning records, then White probably won't mind too much.
As for the card at UFC 200, Michael Bisping has stepped up to offer to take on Cormier with just two days' notice, although it might be a big ask to get anyone to step in to the breach at this stage.
