David Oliver Joyce's Rio 2016 journey is over after a defeat to second seed Albert Selimov in the men's lightweight category.
Joyce put in a gutsy, battling display in the Round of 16 but his Azerbaijani opponent had too much as he won all three rounds.
The first round went to the highly-rated Selimov with all three judges awarding it in his favour as his movement left Joyce chasing shadows.

The second round was less conclusive on the judges cards as Joyce tried to fight his way back but it also went for Selimov and he was also the winner of the third for a victory by unanimous decision.
