Derby County have rejected another bid from the Premier League for Jeff Hendrick

Ireland's Jeff Hendrick looks set for a move at some stage in the coming weeks before the transfer window closes, but Derby are keen to make sure they get the right price for him.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to Turkey recently, but it seems that the most realistic contenders for his signature are Burnley.

Although he struggled with an injury towards the end of the season and had a difficult time of trying force his way into the side, Derby are holding on for an offer that matches their valuation.

They have already turned own a £3 million bid from Burnley, stating that the player was not for sale, while The Derby Telegraph report that a second bid of £5.5 million was also rejected.

However, Sean Dyche appears set on bringing the talents of the Irishman to Turf Moor, and the same paper reports that a bid in excess of £7 million has now been tabled to try and force the transfer over the line.

That bid has also been reported to have been turned down, however, as Derby are standing firm on their original position that the midfielder is not for sale.

Hendrick was a star performer for Martin O'Neill's side during the Euros, and looks set to be a firm part of his plans for the future
