Djokovic reaches Australian Open final after four-set win over Federer

Novak Djokovic has reached his sixth Australian Open final after a four-set win over Roger Federer in Melbourne.

The Serbian World Number One won the first two sets inside an hour as Federer has no answers to Djokovic's power and movement.

Federer won the third set after breaking Djokovic's serve in the sixth game. The Swiss star won the set 6-3 as the momentum seemed to begin to sway in his favour. The 34-year-old even show some fire as he fought his way back into the set that he had to win.

Djokovic cemented his place as the best player in the world in the fourth set winning it 6-3, to reach his fifth Grand Slam final in a row. Before today's match Djokovic and Federer had played 44 times, with each winning 22. The semi-final win ensured that Djokovic now has winning records against the World's best players.

Andy Murray or Milos Raonic await Djokovic in the final. The Serb has not lost his previous five finals at the Australian Open that includes three wins over Murray.
