Donegal thread Lacey into the team for Mayo

Donegal have made two changes ahead of this Saturday's All Ireland quarter-final against Mayo.

Former Footballer of the Year Karl Lacey has recovered from a knee injury to regain his place at centre-back, while Martin McElhinney also comes into the Donegal side to partner Neil Gallahger in midfield.

Eamon Doherty and Hugh McFadden are the two players that make way from the side that started the qualifier win over Galway last weekend.

The changes mean that manager Rory Gallagher has named 14 of the side that start their Ulster final defeat, with Martin O'Reilly replacing Christy Toye in the half-forward line the only change from that loss to Monaghan.

Starting XV: Paul Durcan; Paddy McGrath, Neil McGee, Eamon McGee; Ryan McHugh, Karl Lacey, Frank McGlynn; Neil Gallagher, Martin McElhinney; Martin O’Reilly, Odhrán MacNiallais, Mark McHugh; Paddy McBrearty, Michael Murphy, Colm McFadden.
