"Emotions have no place in business" - Conor McGregor breaks his silence over being dropped from UFC 200

Conor McGregor has finally broken his silence about the fallout from being dropped from the UFC 200 card.

The UFC Featherweight Champion has spoken to ESPN's SportsCenter about his future with the UFC. The interview in full, will be broadcast on Sunday afternoon (Irish time), but a quick preview of the interview has been released.

McGregor speaks to interviewer Kenny Mayne about his meeting with Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta on Wednesday night and how the three men have patched up their differences.

"This is the fight game. Sometimes emotions get into it, but it's important to recognise that emotions have no place in business. That's essentially what it was. We set it aside. There's no place for emotion in this. We are doing beautiful things. Let's fix it and continue."

The Dubliner made it clear that the two parties are now in a "good place" and relations are better than what they were last month. No confirmation has been made yet of McGregor's next fight.

He is expected to fight at UFC 202, potentially in a rematch against Nate Diaz.
