Reports indicate that Lewandowski's contract with the Bayern Munich does not expire until 2019, meaning his value could even breach the £70million mark. Rumours are already brewing as to where Lewandowski will venture next with clubs including Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid, all interested in vying for his signature.
United were plotting the attainment of Gareth Bale from Real Madrid, but they may have to reshuffle their plans following Bale's revelations that he wants to see how things develop under the appointment of Zinedine Zidane.
