Ireland's Eoghan Clifford has won gold in the Men's C3 Time Trial cycling category at the Rio Paralympics.

He won in a time of 38:21.79, finishing ahead of Masaki Fujita of Japan.

Clifford already had a medal to his name at this year's Paralympic Games in Rio, having won bronze in the C3 3000 metres Individual Pursuit last Friday.

The NUIG lecturer (36) was a full 1:08.62 clear of his nearest challenger in today's race to claim gold.
