The abuse scandals which have rocked the football world in recent weeks, has seen those players abused receive support from all quarters for deciding to tell their harrowing stories.
That was until Eric Bristow decided to give his opinion on a story which has shocked the footballing community, and further afield.
Bristow, a five-time World Darts Champion, commented on the cases on his Twitter account on Monday night, calling the abuse victims "wimps".
In a wide-ranging comment, 'The Crafty Cockney' also claimed that darts players were "proper men".
