The impact that Anthony Foley had on the rugby world was clear to see last weekend, as clubs from around the continent, had their own tributes to the former Munster captain and head coach.
All Champions Cup games last weekend were preceded by a minute's applause or a minute's silence. Each Irish province had their own tribute to the Munster legend.
Leinster wore red t-shirts ahead of their game, while Connacht wore red armbands in Zebre. Ulster's fans sang 'The Fields of Athenry' for the first 60 seconds of their game at home to Exeter.

While each of the Irish provinces, paid their own tributes, clubs like Scarlets and Clermont Auvergne led the way for the teams abroad. The Welsh side had a number eight on front of each jersey during their game away to Saracens. In France, Clermont provided red flags to their fans, as a little bit of Munster mixed into the famous yellow and blue walls of the Stade Marcel-Michelin.

Leicester Tigers, one of Munster's main European rivals held an impeccably observed minute's silence before their game with Racing 92. That game took on an even greater significance, as Foley's friend and team mate Ronan O'Gara was part of the coaching staff.

Along with clubs, plenty of fans had their own tributes to the Killaloe native. In France, Castres fans unveiled their own tribute to the 42-year-old ahead of their game with Northampton.
