League of Ireland legend Jason Byrne will take his club career into a 20th season.
The 38-year old striker has signed for First Division side Cabinteely FC.
Byrne will play under head coach and director of football Pat Devlin, the man who handed him his debut at Bray Wanderers back in 1998.
The veteran forward has been prolific throughout his career, becoming the first player to score more than 200 League of Ireland goals when he achieved that feat back in 2013.
He is now on 221 goals, just 14 off the all time record held by former Derry City and Finn Harps striker Brendan Bradley.

Byrne was one of a select few from the League of Ireland to receive international recognition since the turn of the Millennium.
The forward won two Ireland caps, with the first coming in 2004 when he was called up by then manager Brian Kerr for a friendly match against Poland.
Two years later in 2006, Kerr's successor Steve Staunton selected him for a friendly against Chile.
At club level, Byrne has played for Bray, Shelbourne, Bohemians, Dundalk and UCD, while he also spent a season at Cardiff City in 2007-08.
In all he has won five League of Ireland titles and two FAI Cups, including a memorable involvement when Bray Wanderers triumphed in 1999.
