Ireland's crucial World Cup qualifier against Wales is already a sell-out.
The two teams meet in Dublin on March 24th. After four games, Ireland have a four-point advantage over Wales, and Martin O'Neill's side top the group, two-points clear of Serbia.
March's clash will be the first competitive match between the two sides since the Euro 2008 qualifier in November 2007. The two sides drew 2-2 in Cardiff.
Tickets have sold out in record time for the match, with a record amount of Season Tickets among the reason for the lack of available tickets. The 2016/17 Season Tickets has reached almost 14,000, which is over a quarter of the available tickets.
Before Christmas, the FAI sold tickets to the public, in a duo package. Ireland play Euro 2016 stars Iceland days after the Wales clash. Both matches were sold together in a bid to increase ticket sales for the friendly.
The FAI also clarified that Wales' ticket allocation for the game in Dublin will be 3,500. According to the association, it would be "the same number of tickets would then be allocated to the FAI for Ireland supporters travelling to Cardiff in October".
Ireland have six games left in their World Cup qualification campaign, including four matches at home, including the Wales game.
