Based on his goalscoring pedigree, Tottenham's Son Heung Min had plenty of potential as a decisive goalscorer and creator.

Last season's totals for the wide forward were fairly modest but he had been hitting double figures for Bayer Leverkusen prior to his summer 2015 transfer.

Now with one full Premier League campaign under his belt, the South Korean was someone we saw as a potential breakout player in 2016-17.

And if the last few weeks have been anything to go by, the 24-year-old has scored four goals in his past three games this season.

But should you be spending precious Fantasy funds on the player right now?

Eoin Sheahan and Tommy Rooney discussed his merits on this week's Fantasy Premier League segment on Team 33 and Eoin outlined the pros and cons.

"He's already 15 points clear as Spurs' top scoring midfielder in Fantasy Premier League. Any player that scores 19 points in a game is a man worth looking out for," said Eoin, before pointing out that the next few fixtures for Tottenham make the player more enticing.

"The one thing you would have to fear though is around these Champions League weeks and particularly now is the time when people are starting to go after Son and discussing him. They play Man City at the weekend. I wouldn't mind waiting one more week."

As Eoin also pointed out, with the international break coming up and South Korea hosting Qatar and then travelling to Iran, Son may well be rested by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino upon his return because of the air miles covered on international duty.
