The former Newcastle player is not happy with the situation the squad has gotten themselves into
One of the players who was part of the famous 'Entertainers' side in the 1990s, Faustino Asprilla has been a cult hero in Newcastle for a long time now.
The former Colombian international still has a place in his heart for the club where he spent two years of his career, and took to Twitter last night after their relegation to the Championship was confirmed.
Sunderland's 3-0 win over Everton condemned their local rivals to a season in the second tier, and Asprilla sarcastically hit out at the squad for the way they represented the team and the fans.
He followed that up with a message to the players who will remain in the squad, reminding them of their duty to the club and its fans to return them to the top flight as soon as possible.
Despite the disappointment of the night's events, he did find time to share a joke about Ireland.

As bad as that joke is, the video of him riding a horse dressed as a dinosaur which he posted a while back will be hard to top.
