Fears over Bolton's ability to pay staff as financial woes bite harder

There are fears Championship club Bolton might not be able to pay their staff this month.

The financially troubled side were faced with a winding up order from HMRC this week but were given until the 22nd of February to raise funds.

It  is thought they are looking into selling off assets including their car park and training ground.

They have been negotiating with potential buyers after owner Eddie Davies said he did not want to put any further money into the club.

The former Premier League club are bottom of the Championship, with debts of over €200 million.
