Fresh off winning the Pro12 for the first time in their history, Connacht have released their new kt ahead of the forthcoming season.

Pat Lam's side finished second in the Pro12 table last season, only being separated from Leinster by the amount of matches won as both teams finished on 73 points. The Westerners were deserving winners in the Final, beating Leinster 20-10.

It will be the fourth season that Connacht's kits are made by BLK Sport, with Elverys InterSport coming on board as the main sponsor.

The kits continues the traditional green, added with navy trim. A second shade of green "features a subtle and tonal hoop design". The subtle hoops make the jersey stand out from previous versions, and will be certainly popular after Connacht's league triumph

Connacht begin their Pro12 defence at home to Glasgow Warriors on September 3rd, in a battle between the league's previous two champions.

The jersey goes on sale on Wednesday morning, and is sure to be a big hit on the west coast and further afield.
